Magic Beans – a cable hanger for cantilever brakes by Tomii Cycles – is a small item that blends functional beauty with the spirit of craftsmanship, truly like a “tiny piece of magic.”

With a lightweight and compact design weighing just 4.0 grams per pair, it helps prevent the buildup of mud and grass, making it ideal for both off-road and city riding. It's especially useful on small frame sizes where space is limited for routing the rear brake cable, as there’s often not enough room to pull a traditional cable hanger. Installation is simple, requiring just a 3mm hex wrench and a 7mm spanner.

Created by Nao, a Japanese frame builder based in Austin, Texas, Magic Beans was born out of his personal desire for “the simplest and lightest cable hanger possible.” Now, the product has been revived and manufactured in Japan.
