If your style is too fashionable, you may feel self conscious- but with an attractive baseball cap, you can match it with any style without worrying about that. We created an original mold using a regular 6-panel baseball cap.

Comfortable to wear even under a helmet

When considering wearing a helmet, the thickness of your hat may come to mind . The more snugly the helmet fits, the more likely it is that the hat will get loose or feel a little uncomfortable. Therefore, we omitted the core of the hat as much as possible to make it light and soft. I've tested it many times, so I'm sure it's pretty comfortable to wear.

Specifications that allow the brim to be flipped up

Many people have had the experience of having their hats suddenly blown off by a gust of wind. In the case of strong winds or sunlight, it's better to be able to flip the brim of your hat up like a cycling cap while riding. That's why we designed it from a cyclist's perspective with a flexible and easy to flip brim

Draw cord back that can be easily adjusted

The perfect fit differs depending on the situation, such as when you want to raise your brim while riding, or when you want to relax in a cafe.  In such cases, we designed it to be fastened with a drawcord so that you can easily adjust the fitting of the hat.

Authentic fabric that can be used for camping and hiking

The fabric used is a thin 60/40 cloth (Rokuyon cloth) that is woven with 60% cotton and 40% nylon at high density. This material is more abrasion resistant than 100% nylon, and has excellent water repellency and breathability.

Made Locally

We strive to produce the products we want in our own lives, with people we know and trust; so for RAL products made in Japan, the manufacturing process is carried out as much as possible in the Tokai region- mainly in Aichi and Gifu prefectures. We are continuing to manufacture these caps locally.

For the RAL Cap, we asked an embroidery factory in Gifu City, to do the embroidery, and a small hat workshop in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture to sew them.

The landscape of manufacturing sites has changed dramatically over the past 30 years, and the number of sites in Japan has decreased considerably. However, in the area where we live- mainly in Gifu Prefecture, there are still clothing manufacturing sites within an hour's drive.

Bicycles are the best way to get around locally, and bike shops are critical hubs that contribute to the local community and economies. We believe they also serve as local support shops. Because we grew up in such a culture, we want to manufacture products with a local-first mentality.
