We caught up with Kyle and Shawn recently and picked their brains about the shop, their cycling community in Los Angeles and what they’re excited about going forward..

Updated Tubeless Specification is Available

Finally, here in this initial offering of 700×43 and 650×55 sizes, the model has been officially updated to be tubeless compatible in both black and 'Homage Green' tread colors.

Now offering greater puncture resistance, plus the ability to run lower pressures for a softer ride with more contact patch and traction.

We'll be bringing 26" Homage online in this same tubeless specification in the near future.

Doppo Ronin 浪人 is a bicycle frame that most completely embodies the spirit of the Doppo series of frame models from SimWorks. It was renamed to Ronin following a model update from the previous ATB and has continually evolved with each update to remain a practical tool, with subtle new feature in refinement. These new features include our original rear dropouts and a reshaping of the seat stays.

We’re fortunate at SimWorks to be surrounded by a solar system of creative and talented artists, designers, makers, craftspeople, writers and photographers. They find themselves in our orbit and through shared values and magnetism, an attraction and spark is realized and the results are some of the more iconic, relatable and invaluable work that we get to put out. Nicholas Haig-Arack came in to SimWorks orbit many years ago originally via our relationship with Jeremy Sycip – and our ties to Napa and Sonoma County. That relationship has evolved and flourished over the years, and we’ve had the good fortune of working with Nick on some of our favorite and most widely recognized graphics and soft good and merchandize offerings from the past handful of years.
