SimWorks Short Fender

We opened up some old blueprints that had been sleeping in our warehouse and breathed new life into them with a modern sensibility. An arc of shaped aluminum looks great on classic touring bikes and mud-loving cyclocross bikes. That's the SimWorks x Honjo Koken short fender.

Modeled after the traditional short fenders that protected equipment in European races from the 1930s to 1950s, our craftsmen carefully deep-bent a single piece of aluminum. The overall length is intentionally short, precisely blocking splashes and dirt from reaching the brake calipers, head tube, and fork area.

As beloved by bike hunters of the past, these fenders avoid the risk of full fenders getting clogged with mud, or getting caught in leaves and pebbles, and also make them easier to handle when transporting your bike or loading it onto a carrier. They are attached at one point with a dovetail metal fitting, so they can be easily attached and detached as needed.

There are two finishes available: the tortoiseshell patterned turtle, and the beautifully curved smooth model. The lineup includes four models in two colors, each designed to fit an appropriate tire width. They provide solid protection without compromising the appearance of your beloved vehicle. Combining aesthetics and practicality, this new fender is back, inspired by the past and reimagined.
